The role of the Service Prévention et Formation of the Ligue Santé Mentale is to coordinate the various cultural, artistic, social, and academic activities organised by partners during the mental health weeks, and to give them visibility.

The role of municipalities in prevention is beyond question. As you work closely with citizens and local associations, you are ideally positioned to bring people together for a common project. You can contribute to the mental health weeks in several ways
- Mobilising your own services that operate in the field of mental health (e.g. equal opportunity, wellbeing, advisory committees) and promoting their work.
- Organising awareness-raising activities (e.g. Mental Health First Aid course for your citizens).
- Training your staff on mental health topics (e.g. Mental Health First Aid course) and their own wellbeing (e.g. stress management training).
- Coordinating local events during the two weeks (e.g. by appointing a responsible person).
- Encouraging and supporting initiatives by local and/or national partners through funding or by providing staff, facilities, or equipment.
- Collaborating with other municipalities and/or stakeholders to promote a coherent, complementary, and jointly developed approach.
- Promoting the mental health weeks via various channels (e.g. local community newspaper, website, social media, flyers, green ribbons*).

The actors in formal and non-formal education have a mission to prepare future generations for the challenges of life and play a crucial role in strengthening resilience and preserving mental health. Your involvement in the mental health weeks can take various forms

- Training teachers, educators, supervisors, and/or students on mental health topics (e.g. YOUTH Mental Health First Aid course) and their own wellbeing (e.g. stress management training).
- Providing information and materials for raising awareness among parents (e.g. informative resources, information evenings, workshops).
- Collaborating with other stakeholders to promote a coherent, complementary, and jointly developed approach.
